Bio

As a licensed Acupuncture physician since 2006, I earned my graduate diploma of Acupuncture at Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine in Sugar Grove, N.C., with post-graduate studies in massage, Tui Na for sports injuries, facial rejuvenation, functional blood chemistry, addiction therapy…to name a few.

Prior to becoming an Acupuncture physician I earned a BS and MS in Industrial Education and Technology at Appalachian State University, I was a teacher in the field of Industrial Education and Technology, with a psychology minor.

My choice to become an Acupuncturist was simply to have more holistic health care choices for my family and myself. Being able to offer this form of health care to others is a true joy and an honor.

Whether you have a chronic or acute concern I am most confident that with consistent care in acupuncture and various modalities that I use, life-style counseling, acu-pressure massage, e-stim, auricular acupuncture, cupping, gua-sha, moxa and / or herbal therapy can help on many levels, assisting your body, mind and spirit toward optimal health and well-being. Together with my expertise and your willingness to make changes toward health, I am confident positive life changes will happen for you.
