Prior to becoming an Acupuncture physician I earned a BS and MS in Industrial Education and Technology at Appalachian State University. I was a teacher in the field of Industrial Education and Technology, with a psychology minor.
As a licensed Acupuncture physician since 2006, I earned my graduate diploma of Acupuncture at Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine in Sugar Grove, N.C., with post-graduate studies in massage, Tui Na for sports injuries, facial rejuvenation, functional blood chemistry, addiction therapy…to name a few.

My choice to become an Acupuncturist was simply to have more holistic health care choices for my family and myself. Being able to offer this form of health care to others is a true joy and an honor.
